In the past you have paid your dues to the Portland Suburban alumnae chapter. A portion of your dues, called per capita dues, was forwarded to Executive Offices (EO) while the remainder, called local dues, stayed in Portland.
Beginning in 2008, the Fraternity will mail an invoice for per capital dues directly to alumnae.
Portland Suburban will collect only local dues, and will include a local dues payment notice in the newsletter. What is the difference between per capita dues and local dues?
Per capita dues help pay for the production of the ANCHORA, the DG Web site, Convention, recruitment, expansion and support of regional teams.
Local dues help pay for: Founders Day, chapter operating expenses such as mailings (newsletters, postcards, etc.), programming opportunities, our local Web site, and Fraternity and Convention fees.

Your dues and contributions allow us to continue to make a difference, both by providing excellent programming and resources for our sisters (such as this newsletter and our Web site), as well as making a larger impact with our donations to the Foundation and other. organizations.
Portland Suburban alumnae chapter members now have the ability to pay dues via PayPal! This allows you to pay using your Visa or MasterCard, or using your existing PayPal account. Note: This service is free of charge for our members.
PayPal is a secure site which will protect your credit card information. Portland Suburban never actually sees your credit information or processes the payment. PayPal handles everything, and the money gets deposited directly into our checking account. Easy!
2008-09 was another stellar year for Portland Suburban alumnae!
We raised $4,700 at our Spring Flower Sale and Founders Day auction.
Of this money, we donated:
15% to Vision Northwest
15% to Guide Dogs for the Blind
15% to OHSU Foundation - Casey Eye Institute
25% to Washington School for the Blind Foundation
30% to Agnes Beach Delta Gamma Foundation Scholarship Fund
**We are still trying to raise the total to $25,000 to fully endow an annual Foundation scholarship. Please consider making a personal contribution to this scholarship fund!
