  • Garage Sale Volenteers needed
    September 10th and 11th
Please, please, please, if you haven't already, sign up for a volunteer slot, and invite some DG friends to do the same. This is a great time to invite someone who can't come to most meetings, but wants to stay in touch with the chapter. We're sending out a reminder in the e-blitz as well. If you can only come for an hour or two, that's fine. Bring your kids to keep us entertained. Partners, boyfriends, and husbands are always welcome (especially if they enjoy heavy lifting)! This is a huge effort, especially for the person hosting. So let's give Michelle a wedding present of plenty of volunteers. Please let Lauren Bobetsky or me know what volunteer slot you'd like to take.

  • WSSB and WSBF Events: Feel the Music, Empower a Life:
    Date: To be determined
The WSBF will host its fifth annual black tie fundraising event Feel the Music, Empower a Life. 1-3 volunteers have the opportunity to dress up, wear anchor badges and support WSBF as they raise funds for this cause dear to our heart. Contact vpfoundation@portlanddg.org.

  • WSSB Prom
    Date: To be determined

4-5 volunteers to primp prom go-ers. Party dress donations needed for Fairy Godmother Project! For details or contact vpfoundation@portlanddg.org.
Sponsorship Sails
Michelle Baumgardner, Alpha Delta - Oregon

With recruitment around the corner,it is time to write those sponsorship forms! Every woman going through recruitment must be sponsored prior to recruitment to be considered or membership. Alumnae sponsorship gives valuable insight.

Sponsorship forms and collegiate chapter addresses can be found on the Delta Gamma Web site at www.deltagamma.org.

If you send a sponsorship form, please inform Michelle at

On the Town
Suzanne Robbel, Beta Pi - Willamette

Each month, On the Town (OTT) gathers to sample a new Portland restaurant. It is a great way to get out, meet other alumnae and enjoy the great restaurant scene our area has to offer. Recently the group tried Pambiche, Blue Dragonfly, Biwa, Hot Pot City and Eleni’s. We usually meet on the last Thursday or Friday of each month.

If you would like to be added, please contact Suzanne Robbel at
