2012 Spring Meetings

Tuesday, February 7 6:30 PM: Social Time 7:00 PM: Meeting Our Meeting Place: Home of Peggy Pollem Bennet, University of Montana	Prevent Blindness America and Celebrate the Love of Chocolate Carol Ruud Strong, Beta Omega-Washington State, Northwest Region Director of Prevent Blindness America, will demonstrate how to use children’s vision screening kits. Our fare will be a delectable selection of chocolates to ring in Valentine’s Day a tad early. Share the love! Contact for location.

Tuesday, March 13 6:30 PM: Social Time 7:00 PM: Meeting Our Meeting Place: Home of Michelle Baumgardner Van Slyke, Alpha Delta-University of Oregon	Remembering Our Roots with Ritual Take a step back in time to Initiation day with this review of the ceremony and renewal of our oaths. We will begin with a Formal Meeting and share the meanings and proceedings of Delta Gamma rituals that go back to our Founders. Contact for location.

Saturday, April 21 11:00 AM Social Time 11:30-1:30 Program Our Meeting Place: Portland Golf Club 5900 Southwest Scholls Ferry Road Portland, OR 97225	Founders Day Celebrate Our Heritage with guest speaker, Fraternity vp: Fraternity Programming Laurie Petrucce Roselle, Beta Iota-Purdue at our new venue, the Portland Golf Club. We recognize our 25-, 50-, 60-, 70- and 75-year anniversary members and 138 years of Delta Gamma history, tradition and friendship. Enjoy our silent auction goodies, raffle and auction--there’s something for everyone! Cost: $26 per person The RSVP deadline is Monday, April 16. Questions? Contact for more information.

Tuesday, May 8 6:30 PM Our Meeting Place: Home of Lindsey Harris Hughes, Nu - Idaho	End-of-the-Year Potluck and Spring Flower Pick-up Our annual family affair is fun for all ages! Pick up your flower orders and join the crowd for our end-ofthe year celebration. The main dish is provided; please bring your own beverage and a large portion of a dish to share. By last name: A-H appetizer; I-P dessert; and Q-Z salad. Don’t forget the serving dish and utensil, too!
